The African College of Neuropsychopharmacology (AfCNP) School on Neuropsychopharmacology invites you to a one-week training, from January 23 to March 20, 2025, at the Aga Khan University, University Centre, Nairobi, Kenya. The course will include lectures and poster presentation sessions to enhance the understanding of neuropsychopharmacology. Key topics that will be featured include the neuropsychiatric effects of infectious diseases like HIV/AIDS, neurobiology of mental disorders, and neuroimaging techniques. The program emphasizes collaboration among psychiatrists, psychologists, and neuroscientists, while addressing ethical considerations such as informed consent.
Application deadline: March 20, 2025
Eligibility: Early career scientists and researchers (within 5 years of completing a postgraduate degree), Postgraduate students and trainees in psychiatry, psychology, pharmacology, and the neurosciences, from any African country.
